Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymized string (hash) from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you’re using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible next to your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from images on the site.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to save your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience. These cookies last for one year.
Visiting our login page sets a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we’ll set several cookies to save your login info and screen preferences. Login cookies last two days; screen option cookies last a year. Selecting “Remember Me” keeps you logged in for two weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.
If you edit or publish an article, a cookie will be saved in your browser indicating the post ID. It contains no personal data and expires after one day.
Embedded Content from Other Websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content behaves just as if you visited the source website directly.
These external websites may collect your data, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with their content—especially if you are logged in to those services.
Who We Share Your Data With
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
We do not share, sell, or rent your personal data to any third parties.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically.
For users who register on our site (if any), we store the personal information provided in their user profile. Users can view, edit, or delete their personal info at any time (except usernames). Site admins can also view and edit that information.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold, including data you’ve provided. You can also request erasure of your personal data, excluding any data retained for administrative, legal, or security reasons.
Where We Send Your Data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
